Drama & Writing

Overview

Using popular children’s movies and contemporary Broadway musicals, Drama & Writing Prep develops young learners' confidence and communication skills. In this enjoyable, creative online class, students will be introduced to drama and writing skills, as well as select vocabulary words chosen to prepare them for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

This class helps students to

  • Express themselves with clarity and confidence

  • Improve their communication skills in English, through the use of role-play, reading and improvisation

  • Think critically in order to successfully participate in dramatic impromptu improvisations

  • Release their creative style and get out of their comfort zones!
