Important Information
The area: Maisons-Laffitte
20 minutes from Etoile on the RER, and loved by anglophones for its extremely pleasant surroundings (residential park and woodlands) and the vibrant social scene to be had at its tennis and golf clubs. Maisons-Laffitte is a major horse-racing center, so the population consists of two distinct elements: the trainers/jockeys/lads, and everyone else. Alongside the hundreds of lean and flighty thoroughbreds, leisure horses are everywhere, as are riding schools and livery stables. Maisons-Laffitte, city of horses is nestled between the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the Seine, for the greatest happiness of those who enjoy fresh air and a calm living ambiance. Benefitting from a glorious past, since Napoleon stayed on several occasions in the château, the imperial city of Maisons-Laffitte has become noble and is the location for many prestigious villas.
Accommodation: La Maison du Val
La Maison du Val opened its doors in September 2021. Located in the heart of the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, discover this new establishment of the brand Les Maisons de Campagne. Ideal for a getaway with your partner, friends or family, La Maison du Val welcomes you in an enchanting setting at the gateway to Paris. Take advantage of a multitude of activities to discover throughout your stay: bicycles at your disposal, Nordic baths, cinema room, games rooms, bowling alley... There are those who go to the countryside, and those who enjoy it.
