Course Content

Overview

This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of programming in a hands-on robotics context. They will gain mastery over essential electronic components like LEDs, motors, and ultrasonic distance sensors through programming, fostering a deep understanding of code and a sense of accomplishment from building hardware. By the end of the program, students will be well-prepared to continue exploring robotics and potentially participate in competitions like FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge. Throughout the course, we'll cover advanced topics like obstacle avoidance and path-following.

Overview

Our Lego Engineering Class in Jersey City offers an exciting, hands-on experience for young learners to explore the fundamentals of engineering, design, and problem-solving. Using the LEGO system, students will build, test, and modify their own creations while learning key concepts such as simple machines, mechanics, and structural stability. This class fosters creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking, making it a perfect introduction to STEM for children. Whether your child is a budding engineer or simply loves to build, our engaging environment will inspire innovation and curiosity.

Objectives

Understand the principles of simple machines (levers, pulleys, gears, etc.).

Overview

Science Explorers is an engaging and hands-on science course tailored for young learners aged 5-6. This small group class provides an intimate and supportive environment where children can explore the wonders of science through exciting experiments. Each session is packed with fun activities using specially designed science experiment kits, like building a magnet car, creating a magic box, launching rockets, and much more. Join us for an educational adventure where science comes to life!

Objectives

Introduction to Basic Scientific Concepts: Students will be introduced to fundamental concepts such as magnetism, sound, light, and forces through age-appropriate experiments.
Hands-On Learning: Each child will use their science kit to conduct experiments, fostering a hands-on approach to understanding scientific principles.
